This eLearning course supplements a one-day face-to-face course, both parts must be completed before certification is issued.
Ideally, the eLearning course should be completed before the face-to-face course – this allows the tutor to focus on the practical aspect of the course and expand on any areas the candidates are unsure of.
We strongly recommend that the whole training package is completed within ten weeks. Once completed the certificate is valid for 3 years.
Your trained team will have FREE access to our online refresher course – recommended annually by the HSE.
After you have booked your online course, one of our customer service team members will reach out to you to book your face-to-face session.
Group bookings are available at a substantial discount. Please get in contact to arrange for a group booking with prices starting at £750 for 12 delegates.
The price of this course includes access to the online (eLearning) section as well as the face-to-face tuition and a First Aid at Work (3 day) certificate.
If you are only looking to purchase the online section, please click here.
The online section of the First Aid at Work Blended Learning course will take 12 hours to complete.
It consists of 8 hours and 21 minutes of lessons and 4 hours and 39 minutes of activities and quizzes.
It is possible to complete the course quicker than this but we do advise you to stick to the guided learning hours so you have ample opportunity to fully understand all of the course materials.
The course has been designed that if you follow along with the audio track on every page, it will take 12 hours to complete the course.
If you decide not to listen to the audio track and focus on the text and videos instead, you may finish slightly earlier than this depending on your reading speed. As long as you successfully pass the final assessment then this is fine.
If you have a legitimate reason as to why you require longer than 10 weeks to complete the online section of the course, please speak to the Veritas Awards customer service team to arrange for an extended time period.
Not a problem!
Veritas Awards understands formal written exams aren't for everybody, due to this we allow up to 3 attempts to pass the final assessment. If you still fail after your final attempt, a member of the Veritas Awards customer support team will reach out to you to see if there are any additional support you require.
Once you have had a chat with one of our friendly representatives, you will be given access to the course again for free but your progress will be reset. You will have to go through the learning materials again before attempting the final quiz.
If, after going through the learning materials again, you fail an additional 3 attempts, you may be better suited for an in-person course.
During your initial 10 week period, you can attempt the course as many times as is needed. However, if 10 weeks pass and you still have yet to pass the course, you will be locked out automatically at this point.
If you have any extenuating circumstances as to why you haven't passed the course within the time frame, please reach out to Veritas Awards customer service team to arrange free access to the course.
Our blended course has been specifically designed to compliment a Veritas Awards or Veritas Medical Solutions face-to-face session.
We have partnered with many other first aid training companies to allow them to offer a blended learning service to their clients. If you are undertaking this course with one of our approved training partners, they will still be able to offer a fully certified First Aid at Work (3 Day) certificate.
Absolutely! We welcome any first aid provider that is happy to teach our face-to-face session syllabus to use our blended learning platform.
We offer our blended learning solutions at a highly discounted rate to any independent first aid trainers or first aid companies.
All certificates will be produced with your logo on them and unlike many other organisations, we do not charge for this service.
Yes you can but If you are already booked in with another provider for the face to face session, they should have arranged for your login details to be emailed to you as part of your on-boarding process with them.
If they haven't included the online section as part of their course, please contact Veritas Awards customer service team and we will be happy to assist you.
You can recover your login details by attempting to login and clicking recover. If this fails to work, please contact the Veritas Awards customer support team and they will reissue your login details. In most cases, this is caused due to an error in the email used during signup. Please let the support team know the exact email you would like to be associated with your account.
If you received an email confirming your order, there should be an order key included. Please login to your account and add this into the field titled order key. This should automatically reassign your order to your account.
If you are receiving an order key already in use or an email mismatch error, please contact Veritas Awards customer service team and they will sort the issue out for you. In most cases, this is caused by an error in the email used during signup. Please make sure to let the support team know the email address you would like associated with the course.
