FAQs

An eLearning course is a educational course which you complete online only. A blended learning course, such us our First Aid at Work Blended Learning course, allows you to complete the theoretical subjects online and do the fun hands-on practical subjects in a face-to-face session.

Blended courses provide you with the ability to study in your own time! Take First Aid at Work (3 Day) for instance. Instead of having to sit in a class for 3 days, 7 hours a day, you have 10 weeks to do the first two days online. This works out to just a little over an hour a week. It allows you to fit the course in around your needs.

There are also financial benefits to picking a blended course. A blended course is substantially cheaper than a traditional face-to-face course as you are no longer having to pay for the instructor or venue costs for the theoretical days. This can equate to up to £1,500 saving per course.

Employers may also prefer the blended approach as you only have to arrange for your staff to be off work for the practical face-to-face session rather than the whole course. This means your business is disturbed as little as possible!

All of our blended courses are certified by Veritas Awards and Veritas Medical Solutions Ltd. These are nationally recognised as they are aligned to the relevant UK standards. The eCertificates are included in the price of every course. If you require a hardcopy, this can be arranged. Please contact the Veritas Awards team to arrange it. Courses such as First Aid at Work require completion of both the online section and the face-to-face session before a certificate can be issued.

If you require further information regarding the certification, please contact the Veritas Awards team on support@veritasawards.co.uk

Disability should never be a barrier to achieving a qualification. We take equality seriously at Veritas Awards. For this reason, all of our courses contain an audio track. This enables you to listen to the course rather than having to read the bodies of text.

If you are worried about your ability to complete the online course and would like some further guidance, please contact the Veritas Awards support team at support@veritasawards.co.uk

Not to worry! You have three chances to pass your final assessment. After each attempt you will be able to review your questions to see where you went wrong as well as review any course material.

If you fail the assessment three times, a member of Veritas Awards support team will reach out to you within 24 hours to see if there’s any extra support you require.

You will not be charged to access the course again within the initial 10-week period but you will be asked to complete the course material again. After reviewing the course materials, you will be offered another chance to sit the final assessment.

Veritas Awards and Veritas Medical Solutions Ltd have some of the most amazing trainers out there, and anybody who has had the pleasure of attending any of our courses would fully agree with this statement.

We have national coverage so no matter how remote you are, we will be able to accommodate you. If you’re in a location where we do not have a trainer, our Lead Instructor and Founder, Warren, will personally fly out to your location to teach you at no extra costs.
